Nupur,
You are wrong... I didn't like it, I loved it! Very touching... and since you've already written the sequel, I won't have to wait for it! Guess there are some advantages of being missing from Sulekha for over a fortnight!

Loved your lyrical comments.Yes Ektaa happiness can have different meanings for differnt people but the eessence in the same. The strngers whom we meet in life are somehow known to us may be at a certain point of time and place.
Strange are the ways of life and sometimes things are destined to happen and we are destined to meet.
So the sacred land its is of love and understanding and happiness and joy

A very happy new year to you

Will soon post the second part

Thanks for your sweet comments.

Nupur,

Happy new year to u ...

N then wot a b'ful post oit was...
Searching and finding strangers across the time and space...
Delightful
Ye know the definitions of happiness may b diff. for diff. people but the chord is same
tying all together,,,
A story all with a dedication to strangers...far across this land for some soul...
The bashing voice of water it maybe, the twinkling pearl in the eyes of flowers it may be...the chill in the gush it may be...the holiness of innocent smile it maybe....All u encaptured and encapsulated in a b'ful b'ful basket of thoughts and emotions and led it in ur hands to that land where there lives strangers and gifted to all of them...
that smile, that wind, that sea, that flower...all for those b'ful hands to hold...from those b'ful lil hands to give...
now i m resting on a sacred land...amidst all ur air, water, flower n sun..afterall we all r strangers in this cosmic zone of time and space...

Now do I need to write that I m waiting 4 the other side of this sacred land...?
I m waiting how many flowers r gonna glitter on the other side of this cosmic zone....

A very touching story of a girl in desparation, helped by a good samaritan. It is said that life is not measured  by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.
"It is a curious thought ,but it is only when you see people looking ridiculous that you realise just how much you love them"Agatha Christie
Life is a short but distant journey inward to our soul.May we each find inspiration from our desperation.
Wish you a very happy New Year.

Do write a second part ONLY if you can give a happy ending to that girl. Interesting story. Liked it.

Nupur,
beautiful story, very touching! and little sad too! Life is so unfair sometimes... like the innocent girl surrendering to a dooming fate for her mother! and then again it is fair too, she could have had a horrendous experience that day, instead of getting a friend ... (may be for life...waiting for your next part!)
keep it up!
